This rug has a bigger size than most of the Baluch rugs. A vertical row built from three and a half "animal-tree-motives", normally seen in bags, lie on the red-brown main filed. Each of the animal-tree-motive contains a white ground octagon with a dominant and unusual colourful Meder star. This motives become from the lower to the top side smaller.
On both sides of the "amimal-trees" are mirrored smaller Kotschak- in the lower part and bigger latch-hook-motives in the top of the main field. This motives wear more latch-hooks the more they are allocated in direction of the main fields top. As well the center from this motives become more elaborated to the top. First there is a single coloured diamond, then a two coloured diamond followed from a Ashik as center from the latch-hook-motives.
The dominant main border lies on a white ground. Interesting and unusual is, that there are used two different motives. Bottom side from main border is made with the “Blossom arround Kotshak” the other three sides with an “Ovadan-Gyra” also known as "Turkomen line". An eye catching light-blue an yellow gives this border a shiny expression.
Flanked is this main border on each side from a small Gyjak border and vertical with a Kotschak- and horizontal with a Guschly-Kotschak-border (Running Dog).
Rug is in fair condition with some small old repairs.
Colours are maybe not all natural. There is a fading purple and a pink to find, also not clear for me is how the yellow is coloured.
Only upper end is existing as plane weave striped Kilim in the base coulours of this rug.
A goat hair wrapped Shirasi built the sides of this rug.
